Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

couchsurfing opened a door to the world for me. Even when not travelling myself, by hosting people, the world came to my doorstep.
Most of the people I couched with or who stayed with me have become my friends for life.

Interests

a good book, poetry, art,fascinating architecture,comedy and romantic movies,Geeta dutt and Jagjit singh songs,Old Hindi/English songs.
I also paint, and have held a few exhibitions since 2006. Mostly worked in oil on canvas, now also working with Acrylics, water colour, charcoal, pastel.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Tandem Sky dived at 62 yrs age!!
When I first held my children in my arms.Attending the commencement ceremonies of my sons. My first art exhibition. Editing, proof reading and publishing my 80 yr old mother's first book

Teach, Learn, Share

I hope I can learn/teach something from my surfers/hosts by just being myself.
Now,learning is a whole new ball game...... a new language, to play a music instrument,to sing,to crochet,knit,sew,a new medium or style in fine art,to learn patience and diligence.
