Overview
About Me
I'm Enrico. I'm living in Turin, and I work as a teacher of Italian and history in high schools.
I write articles for a pair of literature reviews, and I enjoy cooking.
I practice yoga, I am interested in spiritual and mystical things, and I am a mountain addict: every day I can, I go trekking in the Alps.
I also did some paths and mountain trekkings in Italy and Europe: for example, the Heavenly Way (in Italy), part of the GR10 in France, and part of the Slovenska Planinska Pot.
I like spending time reading, I'm learning to play the guitar, and other stuff depending on my mood and moment of life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing gave (and still gives) me the opportunity to meet people that otherwise I couldn't get in contact with, and helped to make my travels around - and my days at home - better. It made me able to create connections and to build memories. And a lot of other various feelings that I don't have the words to externalise.
I firmly think that meeting new people is always a good thing for our personal growth, and it's also a subversive act against the individualist capitalistic system.
Interests
I practice yoga and meditation, trying to find and know myself. I am a mountaineer, spending most of my time hiking around. I read a lot, watch films and enjoy different types of music.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to a lot of different music, depending on the mood. It's the same for books, I read different things and I love to discover new writers (but if I have to say some authors that I love: Dostoevskij, David Foster Wallace, Hesse, Romain Gary, Thomas Bernhard, Ugo Cornia, Emmanuel Carrère and Beppe Fenoglio). I enjoy directors as Pedro Almodovar, Nanni Moretti, Éric Rohmer.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was born (and I'm still alive!)
Teach, Learn, Share
I don't know if I can really teach something to someone, but I think that we can learn important things in every moment of life.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can cook, I can speak of everything with everybody (or I can try to do it).
