Overview
About Me
My name was Enrique once, but now the world knows me as Kikin. Proudly mexican, I was born in Yucatán, which was my home for many years until I migrated to Mexico City to work on what I like most: design. I spent 2 years in a Branding studio called Futura. Now I come to Stockholm to pursue my passion that is design and to know the world.
I am a person of simple tastes: I like to run, illustrate and eat pitahaya. (a fruit from my hometown).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I was looking at different apps and websites to find out about travel and couchsurfing has something that other apps don't have: people are really willing to help you. That's what I love, meeting new people and learning from them, learning about a totally different culture from mine, about a city I only knew in movies. To be honest it is difficult to leave my home and go to a city on the other side of the world, but I think that with this app everything can be easier

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It's not something I've done, it's something I want to do. In my past job in Futura I did branding for several brands in other countries, my dream is to be able to visit every cafeteria, every ice cream shop, every restaurant that I have created around the world. See how my ideas and my work live in a place I never thought I visited.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am a designer and illustrator, so I can teach and share my processes and my work with you, help you and collaborate on any project you have. I can also teach you about my culture, tell you about how amazing it is to be Mexican and all the magic you can find when you visit Yucatan.
I would like to learn all about Stockholm. My idea is that you can help me find a place to live since I will be here 3-4 months, that you recommend places to visit, to eat, to go for a run, things to do after leaving the office, to move around the city, and above all, that you explain to me a little based on your experience, what it is like to live here. (I’m in stockholm right now, until december)
What I Can Share with Hosts
First of all, a new Mexican friend. I am a little shy and quiet, but very friendly. I can tell you about my country and my hometown and share everything about what I like the most is to design and illustrate.
