About Me

Hi! My name is Enrique Caballero, from the beatiful city of Aguascalientes in the center of Mexico .

I consider myself as an adventurous guy who has an insatiable desire to know the amazing places this world has to offer for those who dare go outside and explore it.

On September 2015 I moved to Miskolc (Hungary) to start with my Master Program in Geotechnical and Environmental Engineering, then moved to Wroclaw (Poland) and a third time to Delft (Netherlands) where I did the last lecture's semester of my studies. I'm now residing in Espoo/Helsinki (Finland) writing my Master Thesis.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I consider couchsurfing can be an excellent option to get to know people from the visited locality as well as to get involved with the culture of the place, places are not only made by their buildings but also for their people.

Interests

Traveling and get to know many places, culture and people as possible.

  • culture
  • books
  • cooking
  • traveling
  • camping

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite books are the "A Song of Ice and Fire" Saga, I couldn't just pick one, the 5 of them got me at the edge waiting for the next page as I'm currently for the next book.

My favorite music is Rock, but I enjoy also a lot a good session of Latin music, like salsa or bachata

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being able to reunite with friends scattered around the world :D

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: basic Salsa steps (I'm not professional, completely empirical :P )

Learn: another language (at least the basics) but most important, learn the best from other people.

Share: my stories, my life, my friendship

What I Can Share with Hosts

I guess the best I have to offer is part of my culture and experiences of my travels to different places. I like to talk a lot and share stories.

Also, my cooking abilities are not the best in the world, but I manage myself to make some decent Mexican with ingredients outside my country.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Bulgaria, Chile, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, England, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Mexico, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Peru, Poland, Romania, Scotland, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United States
