Overview
About Me
I'm pretty young and fresh out of secondary school, so I won't pretend to be wiser or more experienced than I am.
That said, I've been told by others that I'm quite interesting. I'm great at discussing deeper topics (I might not always know much, but I'm willing to listen and learn!), and catch onto things quickly.
If given time, space, and tools, I also love to share about Taekwondo (Taiwanese certified instructor), Muay Thai (complete amateur but trained under some belt-holding champions), and cooking!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I only recently created an account to meet others in Muenchen!
Okay, that may have been true a few months ago, but now I'm planning on doing a little bit of travel around Europe over the summer to get some interesting perspectives on life. Couchsurfing means that I'll get to learn about and experience the real local life, while helping to enrich the lives of my hosts with (hopefully!) interesting company, conversation, and ideas.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music - Most genres, really. I especially appreciate songs where the message and emotion can really bleed through to the listener, where an innovative or unique technique is applied, or the composition balances dissonance with a catchy riff. I mostly played in heavy rock and punk rock bands, but I like jamming some jazzy DnB.
Movies - I don't watch movies very often, to be honest. I generally like everything except romcoms, but especially like movies with strong but subtle foreshadowing and force you to think.
Books - Grew up with a lot of classic literature because it's what my father had around, but I've come to appreciate anything that's well written. I *really* like Wildbow's works, though, if I had to choose a favourite contemporary author.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Won a prestigious interschool debate by comparing the Hong Kong government to pickling juice.
Teach, Learn, Share
Can teach martial arts (licensed), chinese (written, my accent isn't so good), and French.
Would like to continue improving my martial arts and learn German.
Can share very good Asian cooking and stories of surprisingly idiotic Asian kids.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm a terrific cook, and specialise in chinese and indian cooking. I've dabbled in thai, korean, and malaysian.
I've been told that I can either provide a listening ear and active, appreciative attention when someone wants to tell me something, just as much as I'm certain that I can give plenty of entertaining conversation on my end, too!
Most of the "teach. learn, and share" part applies here too, really.
