ABOUT ME

I am just a poor, struggling grad student that loves to travel and explore new places and see new things. There is too much to do and too much to see in the great big world of ours to do the same ol' same ol' day in and day out. If I can't get around and travel myself, I think it would be great to at least get my fix of adventure vicariously through other travelers.

PHILOSOPHY

Everyday is an opportunity to learn something new and become a better person. Every day is a chance to make different decisions and turn it all around! Life is too precious to live out without venturing out.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to meet other couchsurfers for coffee and whatnot first, just to build up some credit and learn from their experiences hosting. Since I am relatively new to this area, I would like to just explore either by myself or if someone wants to show me around that would be even better, before I start actually hosting people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted bands on tour before and friends passing through, but this will be the beginning of doing it through this site. Can't wait til I have real stories, haha

I am interested in tons of different things. Anything new and exciting and I am there. I love learning new things.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am not really all that up to date with movies, but I do enjoy watching them.

Music is where my heart is. My life has an amazing and diverse soundtrack. I love getting introduced to cool new music and reciprocating in turn.

I like reading books, I just rarely have time to read anything outside the realm of biological literature. I do take recommendations though!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can cook a bit and can teach how to make homemade ice cream. I can also teach microbiology if anyone is interested, haha.
