Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

One evening me and a good friend were pitching our tent in a small square in rural Slovenia. All of a sudden we were surrounded by people and we tought we were beeing asked to leave. But on the contrary, it was a family who asked us to stay at their home instead. One woman, Maria, told us she had been hitchhiking in Scandinavia one summer in her youth and the hospitality from strangers she met then was something she had never forgot and promised herself to somehow repay. And so she was always opening her home to others.

Although I have not kept in touch with Maria and her family I feel I cannot let her down. It's my turn to open my home to others.

Interests

I'm a scout and an avid reader. I enjoy museums and outdoor activties.
