Chi sono
I'm Enzo and was born and raised in Amsterdam (the Netherlands). After travelling around for a few months I finally got home and would love to show the city to anyone interested :)
ABOUT ME
After studying for 5 years, I am currently working part-time at a law firm and spend most of my time with friends, cooking or with a book. I'm always up for a game (night) and love to visit a bar or join to occasional party. In general I would describe myself as being a bit introvert, but as soon as I get more familiar I love having a good conversation.
If your up for it I would love to show you around showing my favorite places (bars, museums, stores, food places, etc.), cook some Dutch stuff and make sure you get around (bike or public transport, etc.).
My conviction is that if you stay in the city center of Amsterdam you will miss about 90% of it (which is really a shame).
I live together with my Roommate (Salman). He will be able to tell you all about anything that is going in the city that weekend, which artists, which venues and where to go. He is amazingly social and loves to discuss anything cultural or join you to a party. (Unfortunately this means that he is also quite busy at times).
IMPORTANT
We live in a house quite central in Amsterdam (close to the Vondelpark).
We both work so it's important that either one of us is there to make sure you can get into the house etc.
We are very open to any kind of people but we do have a few thing we would like you to consider if you want to stay with us:
1) We value our relationship with our neighbors a lot! (we'd expect our guests to do the same)
2) Our is house is not a party hostel (we know Amsterdam is famous for its drugs, but we don't want to accommodate drugs holidays)
3) If you are going to write us a message, please tell something about yourself (we get a lot of messages just requesting to stay, which makes it hard for us to judge what kind of person you are)
4) Normal levels of communication, cleanness and politeness are expected (don't worry we are not very tidy ourselves, but we just don't want people trashing the place haha)
Don't get us wrong! We love to go out, hang out and have fun in any kind of way (whether its a museum, BBQ on our balcony, or live free concert in the park). We just want to keep the experience enjoyable for all and prevent things going out of hand, that's all:)
