I am an applied math student, and I decided to take a year off to fulfill a dream : backpack in South America.

What I am interested in ? Most importantly, meeting people ! I believe that the best aspects of Life are coming with social relationships.
Indeed it brings happiness (like making new friends or enjoying spending time with old friends). Moreover, is there a better way to discover cultures and ways of life than living with the people that are actually making it !?

I am very interested in cooking since it is a daily thing which brings happiness and also a very good way to share cultures ! Still in the aspect of discovering a place, I love to talk about local politics :)

CURRENT MISSION

I landed in Rio de Janeiro on September 21st 2016. Therefore I have been traveling in south America for 9 months and the current objective is to discover a part of Colombia. Hence try to meet as many Colombians as possible :)

To get a better chance of truly tasting local culture, I am aiming to stay in some places for a while. For instance by helping/working in exchange of a bed and some food.

To get a better understanding of the places I am going to visit, I believe it is crucial to get some sense of the national and local Politics ! I would also be glad to discover any kind of actions that tends to bring our society towards more respect, equality and sustanability.

I am also really interested in hiking, and since South America is a perfect spot for it, I am confident that I will find what i am looking for ! Especially if we get the good tips on where to go ;)

Wow, I don't know if I'm able to pick one in particular so I would just say something a hit to easy but that I believe very true : I traveled :) And through this I met a bunch of Amazing people and I have seen a bunch of Amazing places ! Hopefully, this will go on and on :)
