About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To see every country in Europe, and then Asia, then Africa.....
ABOUT ME
I've lived in Dublin since I was 18 when I moved here for college. I grew up only an hour down the road so it wasn't a big move! I now live in Rathgar, which is pretty close to the city centre. Theres plenty of history in this neighbourhood, James Joyce was born in a house just around the corner from mine.
I really like Dublin, it grows on you. But I also love travelling and seeing the world. I lived in America for a year when I studied there and I plan to move away from Ireland in the next few years to experience living abroad again.
PHILOSOPHY
Give everyone the benefit of the doubt and take things as they are. Everybody is different and deserves respect.
Fortunately/unfortunately I see life a bit like Frank in 'The Sportswriter' by Richard Ford - I would recommend this book to everyone.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've couchsurfed a few times now on the Continent and hosted a few times in Dublin. I really enjoy it!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I just recently joined it and I can say its been an eye-opener! I've met some really cool people and had some amazing experiences.
Interests
My favourite sport is gaelic handball, there are a few different codes but my favourite is 1-wall. They play it in America too. Its kinda similar to Basque pelota. I play it at least twice a week. I can show you how to play it if you like!

Music, Movies, and Books
A little bit of everything music-wise although I find I don't have much time to listen to music. Books - mainly literature. I'm reading 'Winter Bone' at the moment and the last book I read was 'Peace' was Richard Bausch. I like Graham Greene.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've jumped off the side of a mountain in Austria - paragliding!
Teach, Learn, Share
I like learning about history and fun facts about a place. It can bring you up to speed on the culture of a place very quickly I find.
