ABOUT ME

We are a mature couple living in a house in Douglaston part of Queens, New York City. To Manhattan: 1/2 hour by LIRR train ($7 - $9.50, $4 each way on weekends) or 1.5 hours by bus and subway ($2.50 each way).
Elizabeth: Works from home. Native Polish speaker.
Paul: Will retire soon. Speaks German.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We are new to CF, but not to hosting.
In the past, we participated in high school exchange program through the EF Foundation. For six years in a row we hosted students who completed 11-th grade while staying with us for whole school year. We were happy that we could give young people the opportunity to discover America.
Now we want to repeat this experience with couch surfers willing to come to New York.
