ABOUT ME

I still don't understand myself. I am utterly in love with the people around me and the beauties of the earth, but I also find myself painfully pensive much of the time. I have melodies in my mind: complete musical works that I yearn to funnel into something concrete. But I also long to spend my life making others' tangibly better. One of my deepest longings is to understand: the souls of others, the intricacies of the world, ideas. I know that I will never overcome the mystery, but I still get such a thrill out of swimming deeper into these infinite depths!

PHILOSOPHY

Ah! there are far too many wonders of the world to know all of them! But yet life is too short to not marvel at the wonders right before my eyes at this moment.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Half of me wants to settle into a semi-permanent home in a small town and a tight-knit family, taking in weary travellers to feed and house them whenever possible. The other half of me is still the traveller, so I expect that I shall be on the road for many of the upcoming months. But if you can catch me I am always happy to share my tent with a travelling companion!
