Music, Movies, and Books

Films: The Princess Bride, Labyrinth, Låt den rätte komma in, Un long dimanche de fiançailles, El espinazo del diablo. Lots more.

Music: rock, metal (apart from nu-metal and anything ending in -core), goth, folk, classical, cheesy cheesy pop... I'll give pretty much anything a listen.

Books: Come on, I'm a literature student. Well, at least partly, I do linguistics too... Some books in particular that I really love or am taken with at the moment: La queste del saint Graal, La mort le roi Artu, O Crime do Padre Amaro, Das Parfum, basically anything by Tolkien, Pratchett or Gaiman. More generally: Anything sci-fi/fantasy; medieval French is also great.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Waking up at sunrise to go to the bathroom while staying in a guesthouse in the Annapurna region during monsoon season; the clouds broke and I had the most amazing view of Macchapuchre. Best loo trip ever.

Teach, Learn, Share

I guess I could teach you about linguistics if you want, or medieval languages... I know a little yoga too, and poi and slackline!
