Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to travel all over Papua New Guinea to experience for myself what this country has to offer before I travel all over the world
ABOUT ME
I'm a quiet person most of the time, but I can be loud and funny when I want to be.
I think that I'm just a normal person that leads a normal life. I love hanging out with my friends and family and I confess I'm a book worm.
I love travelling and I hope to travel around the world to see and witness the various festivals and events that are happening, after I see my own country.
PHILOSOPHY
2 of my personal favourite quotes are:
"Que Sera Sera" - What Will Be, Will Be
"To Thine Own Self Be True" - Shakespeare
I guess you could say that my personal philosophy ties in with these 2 quotes, to be true to myself in all that I do, say, think or feel and that whatever comes, comes and all I have to do is live my life just one day at a time.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I signed up to host and to surf as I thought it was pretty cool.
I'd just like to meet different people and hear about their experiences and where they are from and what's it like in their country, etc...
It's also good to make friends and create networks, so that if I do happen to end up in their part of the world, I could surf their couch.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've made some wonderful friends through couchsurfing and have met some really interesting and wonderful people. I have learnt a lot and I have also had a really good time, thus I'm really happy to host other surfers who are interested to travel to my part of the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the amazing things I got to do was to ride on the back of a Harley Davidson motorbike for a 1 hour tour whilst on a holiday in Cairns, Australia. I had a really great time & it's now one thing crossed of my list of things to do.
Another thing I managed to do on my last trip to Rotorua New Zealand was to go sky diving! I managed to do a tandem sky dive from 9,000 feet. Another activity crossed of my bucket list of things to do before I die:)
I also got to attend the 2013 Te Matatini Kapa Haka Festival in Rotorua, New Zealand
Celebrated New Years Eve in Sydney in 2015 with 2 of my friends.
Went to the eastern most tip of Papua New Guinea in Eastcape, Milne Bay province
Hiked up Diamond Head in Oahu, Hawaii
Went para-sailing at Waikiki, Hawaii
Swam with the turtles at Waikiki, Hawaii
Went and saw the Backstreet Boys live in concert in Manila
Celebrated New Years Eve in London with my friends
Stayed 1 night at the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore so that I could cross off a dip in the Infinity Pool from my bucket list
Teach, Learn, Share
I don't really have a particular skill that I could teach others or share with others, but I'm willing to share and teach other people about my wonderful country.
Papua New Guinea is not such a bad place and we have so much to offer for anyone wishing to travel this way.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share about PNG with my hosts, help to clean up around the house and maybe even cook a dish or two...
