ABOUT ME
I am glad you found your way to my profile to get to know me a little better. I like to have good conversations, share my insights and most definitely want to hear your side of the story. I don't consider myself as being extro- or introverted but rather just inbetween. I am using irony and sarcasm in about 20% of the stuff I say, so better be prepared and don't take everything too serious that comes out of my mouth. But one thing you can be certain about: I am an absolutely honest and direct person you can always rely on - no matter the circumstances. I love being outdoors alot and enjoy the simpler but also more adventurous things in life. This ranges from skiing, scuba diving, freediving and spearfishing to multi-day hiking trips. I absolutely adore cooking, exploring new recipes and get to know a countries most popular and interesting foods. Living in Germany's beer capital (Bamberg) for about 8 years during my studies I'd definitely say that I'm a beer-enthusiast and know quite a bit about beer so I'm more than happy to have some with you.
After finishing high-school in 2010 I travelled to beautiful Canada. While travelling all the way from Vancouver to Montréal I've met amazing people and worked in places I couldn't dream of. This was also the first time I got into Couchsurfing. I'd say couchsurfing had a major impact on my experiences along the way - I met wonderful people and felt always kind of being home. After 7 months in Canada, my journey took me to Jamaica where I spent 5 weeks to travel around the whole island and staying with all of the only three available couchsurfers at that time on the whole island. This time certainly changed me. I learned to appreciate things which I always thought wouldn't be really important to me. I'm really glad about the stuff I learned along way - and I'm still eager to learn more!
Time passed since 2010 and I'm happy to say that I'm still part of the CS-community! After graduating in 2019 I constantly moved around while being extremely lucky to work remote and enjoy somewhat the digital nomad lifestyle. Most recently we were living in Thailand for a year, then relocated to Italy and Malta before finally settling down long-term on Cyprus now.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I had several amazing experiences while couchsurfing with local hosts. From canoe-trips in snowy winters in northern Sasketchewan in Canada, spearfishing trips in Jamaica, quad-biking in the Australian outback to just different couchsurfing-meetings all around Europe, North-America and Oceania.

- scuba dive below 40 metres for the first time to enter a cave.
- spearfishing on 100 consecutive days in a row travelling along the mediterrean sea.
- living a year in Thailand and working as a scuba diving guide on a liveaboard in the Similan Islands
What I Can Share with Hosts
Cook a meal for you or invite you to a beer? ;)
Additionally, I'd say I could share a lot of knowledge about the places I've been to in the recent years - especially how to live on a tight budget in a car for a rather long time.
