ABOUT ME
Hi, my name is Crystal and as you can see I am still a student and probably will be for the rest of my life. I love to learn new things everyday, there is so much to know out there and so little time to figure it all out. I want to experience and live all that I can. I think that seeing the world is a critical part of the learning process. If it weren't for traveling around, there would have been no sharing of ideas, and this is what I plan to do....share and learn new ideas! I believe that we should learn as much as we can about one another. Even though there are countries and barries, we are all part of the same race: the human race. And I think that it is important to get to know one another and this is a good way to do it. I have lived now in a small town where most of the older generation have never even left the state they live in....they go to the state's capital once and call that a trip! I don't want that to ever happen to me! My mom has never left the country, I am sure she would like to, but for the time being she is working and taking care of my little sister. It would be my dream to take my mom on a trip out side of the US. I would like to tell my children stories of my adventures roaming the world!
PHILOSOPHY
My philosophy is to just be a kind human being. I think that life should be a good experience and we should make it nice for the people around us as well. There are tough moments in life, but that is what should make us stronger and wiser...not bitter and grumpy. I'm just a regular person who wants to live a tranquil life and pleasant life.....my next priority is to make the people around me feel pleasant as well.
Oh, I love having guests! This is one of the reasons that I am sooo excited that my husband and I are going to start hosting people when we move into our new home! I love to make people feel welcomed and at home! I love cooking for people (I'm not that great of a cook...but at least no one has died from my cooking....yet) :P- I love sitting down and having a nice cup of tea with someone and just chatting...thats always fun.
Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
So, currently I am studying abroad and I have a little room, but I am usually not here on the weekends. However, I really like this couch surfing idea and I talked it over with my husband and whenever we move into our new home, we are definately going to have a bed to offer! We live in Charlotte, NC and I know that there isn't much natural beauty in Charlotte, but there are plenty of things to do...amusement park, parks, malls, clubs (latin american!), concerts, down town, etc. Ha, and if you want to see some banks...there are plenty!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I am new!!!! I am about to go on my first couch surfing adventure with a buddy of mine (who has couch surfed before...a lot). We are going to Barcelona...this will be nice. Unfortunately I am about to leave and go back home...in December, but before I do I would really like to visit London...since it is my little sisters dream I thought it would be nice to go and take some pics...maybe even bring her a souvenir...if she's good!!
