About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I want to experience all life has to offer, and meet as many incredible people as I can along the way!
ABOUT ME
Well, I'm not very good at the self-descriptors, but here we go! I'm a young woman who has a passion for people and culture. I can be a little shy at first, but I warm up quickly. Once you know me, I'm a fun, spontaneous, and honest person who is truly enjoying what life is all about.
I'm fortunate enough to have worked in the aviation field, so I have been able to shoot off on random adventures. It's not very often that I have a travel buddy, so if anyone has any suggestions or ideas for travel plans drop me a line! I have traveled all over North America, by plane and car. My favorite place by far is Alaska! I tend to call Anchorage my second home. I have family and good friends in Anchorage, so I'm there often. One of my favorite trips was road-tripping from Portland, Oregon to Anchorage, Alaska in November! It was incredible! There were numerous occasions I thought I was going to lose my life, but that's half the excitement of braving the Alaska Highway during the winter in a 2-wheel drive car right? :)
I love to sing and dance almost anywhere. And, I enjoy riding horses! I love jumping and cross-country! Ahh...it's an amazing rush to be galloping down a wooded trail jumping over fallen trees and brush! Incredible I tell ya!
I listen to all different kinds of music, but mostly rock and country. I love being spontaneous; cliff jumping is always a blast, along with camping and four wheeling. A campfire, good friends and a cold beer is definitely on my list of favorites. Oh...and who could possibly leave out snowboarding! I love the snow!
PHILOSOPHY
Laugh as much as you breathe and love as long as you live!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
My participation has been hosting thus far. When I lived in Portland, OR I hosted some friends from England and truly had the time of my life with them. They stayed for three days and then traveled up north towards Canada. Funny thing is I got a random phone call from them a few days later saying they were back at the train station in Portland and wondering if I could host last minute. I absolutely obliged and took them on a micro-brew tour for their final evening in the Northwest.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My favorite experience was the drive through Canada in the winter time. Snow just makes everything look so pristine and breathtaking.
Teach, Learn, Share
You lose someone you can't live without and your heart will be badly broken, and the bad news is that you will never completely get over the loss of a beloved person. But this is also the good news. They live forever in your broken heart that doesn't seal back up. And you come through. Its like having a broken leg that... never heals perfectly that still hurts when the weather is cold but you learn to dance with a limp.
