About Me

I'm working as a an architectural designer and natural builder in a small town in Mid-Wales. Environmental activism, natural building and music take up a lot of my time at the moment but I also love to get outdoors into nature. Wales has beautiful rivers, mountains and forests to explore.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I travel back to Finland every summer to visit friends and family; overland travel is my preferred method due to the damaging impact flying has on the climate.

I've had so many good experiences on couchsurfing from previous travels (cycle tour and backpacking in France, Spain and Portugal) that I always prefer staying with locals instead of standard accommodation. It's a great way to get to know people and the culture of a new place.

Interests

I am interested in sustainable living; everything from ecological buildings to growing food. I play guitar and recently started playing traditional Irish guitar for a ceilidh band.

I love a good party and the opportunity to meet new people!

Music, Movies, and Books

There would be too many artists to list here I listen to lot's of music like blues, jazz, folk, rock( especially 60s and 70s) some reggae, irish trad. I'm not a fan of most mainstream pop although it does have it's moments sometimes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveled around Australia in a van for 3 months, it was an amazing experience.
