ABOUT ME
I'm a Chimera. A London-born, half Danish-half German veterinarian-turned researcher, working in Cambridge, UK, but splitting my time between Cambridge, Brussels, and Gent.

My wife has recently started a job in Gent, so we're looking to meet lovely people to share new Belgian experiences: imbibing potent Trappist beers, musing about European cultural differences, tasting copious waffles, and escaping Brexit conversation.

As for being a guest, I'm particularly pleased with a fellow couchsurfer's description of me as the "perfect medicine against...hangovers"!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I couchsurfed with a friend all the way from Boston, USA, to California and back! Since our first night on the road where we stayed with Mandy in Buffalo, I've been a Couchsurf disciple, and although I can't have people to stay at the moment (unconverted housemates), I'm happy to meet up if you're passing through Gent, Belgium.

Hobbies include playing waterpolo, hiking, dislocating Rodrigo's shoulder, feeling guilty about my environmental impact, avoiding work by taking naps, cycling, having a beer, swimming, reading non-fiction, and spelling in the British way (lots of unnecessary U's).
