ABOUT ME

I am a doctorate student in Kaiserslautern. After coming back from a year abroad in 2011 I hope to get to know a few new friends here! I enjoy making new friends, take trips, learn new things. If you want to find out more about me, write, host me or surf with me!

I want to take things the best way I can..
If you give people the benefit of trust you do get a lot of positive moments and I havent been convinced of behaving otherwise yet..

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I became City Ambassador for Kaiserslautern a while ago and we are organizing CS-Meetings and Gatherings once in a while.. Look out for the announcements in the city group! Or ask me about our regular dinner nights.
In January we organize the regular Kaiserslautern Invsion event for Couchsurfers all over Europe!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I got into the hospitality business through Hospitality Club. My HC and BW Nicks are also erathostenes
Until today I had many many very memorable experiences, being hosted, actually host myself, organize gatherings and events or hang out on camps or meetings..

One of the greatest couch surfing experiences was with a host from HC in Taiwan who had me surf in a japanese style room with tea equipment, paper walls and bamboo mattresses (tatami) on the floor..

Centres d'intérêt

I am interested in a lot of things. One is science, which I am about to make my profession (I study chemistry). I love books, asian culture and languages, people and more^^
I read widely about things like philosophy, artificial intelligence and singularity, science fiction and also a lot of random stuff.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I do like thoughtful books like "Solaris" by Lem, the Hyperion Quadrilogy by Dan Simmons, the Mars series by Robinson or "The Lives of Lazarus Long" by Heinlein.. Preferably Sci-Fi..
With movies I like the kind like "Children of Men" and recently "Watchmen"

One of the coolest things of my lifetime was going to Taiwan for one year to do my civil service and again another year to work there six years later.
Crazy country, but also crazy fun!
