About Me
Hello Couchsurfing Family!
Currently in: Wildwood, New Jersey
I study computer engineering in Düzce and live in Istanbul. I’ve had a strong interest in computers and video games since childhood, which led me to pursue engineering. I also love camping and playing football. Additionally, I have a special passion for birds and have been taking care of budgerigars for over 12 years.
My Philosophy: "Explore, question, live!" My curiosity drives me toward new cultures and experiences. As an open-minded traveler, I love listening to and understanding different perspectives. I'm here to embrace every moment life offers and connect with new people. I can't wait to hear your story and embark on adventures together!
Since I live in a shared house, I can’t always offer accommodation, but if you’re in need of a last-minute place, you might be able to stay for a night. Everyone is welcome in my home, regardless of religion, language, race, color, or gender.

PHILOSOPHY
Curiosity and excitement are at the core of who I am. Like a child, I never hesitate to ask about things I don’t know or dive into new experiences. I believe the best way to learn something is to approach it with the curiosity and excitement of a beginner.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’ve always believed that true knowledge comes from both reading and experiencing the world. Traveling opens up new perspectives, and sharing those journeys with people who also seek knowledge makes it even more enriching. For me, it’s not just about seeing new places, but about the connections I make and the stories we share.
I’m here on Couchsurfing to explore new places, meet fascinating people from all walks of life, and immerse myself in diverse cultures. Every encounter, every experience, and every conversation contributes to the beautiful memories I want to collect along the way. Let’s create unforgettable moments together!
Interests
---
Camping: I was part of a mountaineering club for two years during university and have been passionate about camping since I was a child. Exploring various outdoor locations has been a big part of my life.
Video Games: I believe video games are great for developing intelligence, strategic thinking, and entrepreneurial skills. I’ve been gaming since I was 8, and while I enjoy a range of games like Valorant, League of Legends, Skyrim, Fallout, Cyberpunk 2077, The Witcher, Hearts of Iron, Age of Empires, Europa Universalis, Kenshi, and Chess, I am far from antisocial.
Animals: I’ve cared for many types of birds throughout my life. I currently have a 1-year-old budgie who lives with my parents, and I continue to cherish my experiences with avian companions.
Language Learning: Working in a bazaar has given me the opportunity to pick up some Russian, German, and Spanish, though I'm still improving. I’m always eager to learn more languages.
Travel: I have a deep passion for discovering new places, meeting diverse people, and immersing myself in different cultures. Traveling is an enriching experience that I truly value.
Football: I played as a goalkeeper for a year and still enjoy playing football informally with friends. I’m a dedicated Galatasaray fan and make it a point to attend most of their matches in Istanbul.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the most unforgettable adventures I’ve ever experienced was my hitchhiking trip along the stunning Black Sea coastline in Turkey. For a whole week, my friends and I traveled with nothing but our backpacks, relying on the kindness of strangers for rides and setting up camp under the stars each night. The combination of breathtaking landscapes, spontaneous encounters, and the thrill of living freely in nature made this journey a true adventure.
From the lush green mountains that meet the deep blue sea to the warm hospitality of the locals, every day was filled with new discoveries. We slept in our tents, embraced the unpredictable, and allowed the road to guide us. This experience taught me not only the beauty of the Black Sea but also the joy of simplicity, adventure, and human connection.
Teach, Learn, Share
I consider myself a helpful, generous, calm, and patient person. I enjoy teaching and sharing what I’ve learned with others because it brings me happiness. I believe everyone has a unique perspective, and I’m always ready to listen with understanding and offer any help I can.
I have a fun personality and love spending quality time with others. Whether it’s going out, having a good conversation, reading poetry, or sharing my adventures, I’m always up for it. If we’re in the right mood, we might even dive into deep philosophical discussions. Every moment is an opportunity for a new experience!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm an easy-going person who loves connecting with others. If you're up for it, we can explore the city together or simply hang out and share a meal. I enjoy storytelling, so I'd love to share some of my adventures or dive into discussions about poetry and life. If the mood strikes, we can even explore philosophical ideas and existential questions together—who knows where the conversation might lead? I'm always up for a good chat and making new memories!
