About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Visit as many countries as I can
ABOUT ME
Born an raised in Ottawa, I studied in Computer networks. I work in my domain and I stocked up enough money to be able to travel around the world. I figure that it is better to travel now, before I start amassing responsibilities that will make travelling more complicated, ie: Buying a house\car, getting a permanent job, getting maried, etc.
Im a very social person and I get along well with most people that I meet.
I love camping to death. And I mean real camping, when the nearest sign of civilisation is hours away by car. This summer has been more about canoeing and exploring islands.
Music is my passion, I have been playing bass guitar for 7 years and I'm a fan of both jazz and metal. (go figure...). Obviously its more complexe than this but I could go one for hours, talking about music. This is the short version.
Im currently doing a 6 week tour of western Europe, Im the kind of person who gets homesick so doing this alone is my way of shedding that feeling away. Practice your weaknesses.
Also, from what I gather, 6 weeks is nothing in traveling terms. My next trip will then be much longer.
PHILOSOPHY
You only live once, make the most of it.
Before I settle down for good I have a lot of countries to visit. This also goes hand in hand with "Work to live, dont live to work".
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I just joined up. It's a very useful site to meet new people. I have surfed a few couches but I have not hosted anyone since I joined the site right before leaving on my trip.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have surfed a few couches and Im very happy that some people take time and effort to host travelers. I dont ask for any more than an actual couch to sleep on, everything else is an unexpected bonus. Everything has gone smoothly as well.
