Overview
About Me
Hey there!
I am a student living in Istanbul. I've never traveled abroad till I was 19. Now I'm passionate to travel and learn/meet new cultures and peoples. Unfortunately, I have nearly no reference as I'm just setting up my own and starting to travel. I do not get angry if you decline my request.
I mostly enjoy the moment. Share what I have. I'm an optimistic; I don't worry much but I'm aware of and care about things that needs to be.
Generally I travel with my cousin. If I'm requesting for both of us, you surely gonna see a link to his profile.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like the concept CS, It's really fun and at the same time it enables us to socialize and learn from people of other countries and cultures. I'm not just looking for a cheap hostel or a tourist guide.
Interests
I have all the interests of an average traveler, so I'll skip that. Besides, I enjoy reading a lot. Also, I enjoy learning new languages. I'm learning French on my own and I learned a little German in high school.
Also beside my specialization(which is Medicine), I love history, anthropology, evolutionary biology, physics and genetics.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen any kind of music depending on my activity. But I mostly listen indie and rock. Tame Impala, Foster the People, Muse, Depeche Mode, Radiohead... Sometimes I listen folk and folk metal like Faun, Ensiferum and Korpiklaani.
I love mind-f***ing movies. E.g Predestination, Donnie Darko. I'm a huge fan of Christopher Nolan and Tarantino. I watched all their works a couple of times but Prestige and Reservoir Dogs are my favourite ones. The Office (US version of course) Parks and Rec and House of Cards are my favourite TV series.
I have lots of favorite books. But I love Lotr trilogy and many other fantasy series. Stefan Zweig's all works are valuable to me and my love of Jose Saramago is worth mentioning.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Climbing the Hum Mountain with my cousin in Mostar(Bosnia&Herzagovina) at round 45 degrees celcius. we almost fainted because of thirst!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my 19-years-as-a-Turkish-boy experiences, my cooking skills and useless but interesting facts about anything. I can talk about anything with you especially history, politics and medicine (though i cannot examine you as I'm not a doctor, yet)
I'd be happy to help you with Turkish in the small amount of time we'd have.
