Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've surfed all over the world, and met wonderful people in the process! I have also had the pleasure of hosting many times in NYC. It's amazing who and what life brings to your door. Or whose door life brings you to.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I love couchsurfing!! The summer of '09 I traveled through France, Morocco and Haiti via couchsurfing and I had positive experiences the whole way! I have also surfed in St. Kitts. It a much more authentic way of experiencing a place than as a traditional tourist. You get insight into the actual rhythm of life, and people share with you what you might never have found yourself. Now I live in NYC, and am happy to host when I can. I hope to do justice to those who showed us such warmth and kindness.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent time watching both lava and glaciers (not at the same time, unfortunately), the forces responsible for the entire world as we know it. Those were spiritual experiences at the time...

The world in infinitely interesting and unpredictable and the things I could list here will probably not be the things I encounter... I want receive to what people have to share with me, I want to listen.
