About Me
"We choose to live like monks, rooting ourselves to a home and career and using the future as a kind of phony ritual that justifies the present. We end up spending the best part of our life earning money in order to enjoy a questionable liberty during the least valuable part of it."
My name is Eric Albers and I am a footloose traveler from Colorado Springs, Colorado, currently going to school at the University of Delaware. As I move into my final year as an undergraduate, I am itching for international adventures to add to my past travels. Currently, I have a love for traveling in Africa. I would die if I ever had a 9-5 and plan on seeing the world and dying without any regrets. I can't wait to stay with you (or you to stay with me!). Lets kick back, share our stories and explore the world together!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love travel. I hate spending money. I have no money. In fact I'm in debt. Even if I wasn't I would never pay $300 for a room in a resort that is designed to keep me inside and out of the wonderful places I visit. I prefer interacting with local people who know best the culture as well as the best sites to visit.
The coolest place I have ever couched surfed was in Mpigi Uganda. I spend a couple of nights camping on a hill top in the middle of nowhere and loved every minute of it.
