About Me
Hey, I'm Eric Anderson. Born and raised in a small town in Kentucky, United States. Traveled across most of the United States already and looking to start backpacking in other countries. Want to have an adventure and just enjoy life. Take it step by step and not waste away precious time. I've already had one amazing backpacking experience. I spent a few months around Thailand and Malaysia, and it was hands down the greatest part of my life. That experience made me want to go again, but for much longer and to many more places. Therefore, I'm currently working on saving and planning what I want to do next. I like to wing my day to day life when I'm traveling, so the only planning I'll be doing is a rough idea of where I want to start next. The next time I travel I would love to spend more time in each place and become more culturally aware, meet more people and make the best memories that I can. Learning new languages is becoming a passion of mine. I've just recently started Japanese, so if anyone has a native fluency in Japanese, then feel free to message me. I'd love the opportunity to have someone help me with Japanese. Also, feel free to message me about anything and we can stir up a conversation on something. :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It's as simple as wanting to meet some new people. There's always something to be learned by befriending others. The way I see it is you can never have too many friends or make too many amazing memories. Feel free to message me if I'm traveling through your home and we can get into something/grab some food/grab a drink or just chat. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
Interests
When it comes to what interests me there's too many things to count. Traveling, meeting interesting people, cloud gazing, and people watching(I know, sounds really creepy, but it's nothing like that! Just sit back, relax, and try to read people. Ask yourself things like "What's that person do for a living? Where are they headed? Why are they here? etc... May be more interesting than you think it to be). The list could go on for days, but the point is that I'm willing to give almost anything a try.

Music, Movies, and Books
I have a very broad list when it comes to music (Rock, Rap, Country, R&B, etc...) You play it, I'll listen to it! When it comes to movies it's the same way. (Comedy, Action, Adventure, Anime) Favorite movie of all time is Princess Mononoke. Thought Guardians of the Galaxy was a pretty sweet movie as well. Books? Easy! A Study in Scarlett, The Hound of Baskervilles, The Valley of Fear. YES, all of them are Sherlock Holmes books. That's what makes them so awesome!

Teach, Learn, Share
It's always nice to share with others what I've learned and learn from others what they are willing to teach. If you have anything you would like to teach me please feel free as it won't go to waste. If you ever need anything then feel free to ask and if I can do something about it then I'll do what I can for you.
Always up for the challenges of learning new things like:
Cultural knowledge
New dishes to cook
New hobbies/sports
New languages
Pretty much anything you are willing to teach, I am willing to learn and share with others.
What I Can Share with Hosts
There's nothing that I've found myself to be too amazing at, but I'm definitely willing to share what I can. Don't mind helping by cooking, cleaning, anything else you can think of. Will share anything with you about where I live and pretty much any knowledge I have retained I'll gladly share with others. Feel free to ask for anything.
