One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was 14 I travelled to Nicaragua on a MeToWe trip. On the trip. I helped construct a schoolhouse, sanitation facilities and a garden for the children of the school and surrounding community. I fundraised the entire cost of the trip ($4000) by using an online fundraising page, asking for donations and selling African bracelets. The experience changed my life forever in the sense that it opened my eyes to the real world around me and that people, memories and friends are worth far more than anything money can ever buy.
