About Me
Conservation geneticist / landscape ecologist of American Southwestern toads and paleoecologist of Triassic and Cretaceous sharks. Current lecturer at Penn State. Staunch vegan who's passionately defensive of the integrity of the natural world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Same reason we all are: to save money and meet interesting people.
Interests
I'm a fan of cultural landscapes: music, food, history, and how they all command the direction of humanity within the guidelines of the natural world. Restoring and protecting wild spaces is my foremost mission.
But I'm also very much into hiking/backpacking, hardcore, kpop, vegan food, PMA, world history and politics, etc.
Music, Movies, and Books
Hardcore, Hip-Hop, Jazz, K-pop
Any books by Thoreau, Hesse, Michael Crichton, Ed Abbey, or Alan Weisman
Teach, Learn, Share
