About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To showcase Chicago

ABOUT ME

open minded, burrito loving, green-eyed fella

PHILOSOPHY

live your life with no regrets. get out there, do what you love to do and dont let anything stop you. the way I look at life, is you're never going to be ready. there's always going to be things your striving to get to. when you get knocked down, you get right back up. it's the only way

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can only host Fri-Sun...I don't know how I feel about leaving couch surfers at my house while i'm at work.

you need to have references for me to host you and everyone that is surfing with you must have a profile.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My old roommate first introduced me to couchsurfing. I remember his first guest was from Germany and we had a fun weekend showing him around Chicago. He was an art student and loved to play the guitar. after we got home from being at the park all day we had a late night jam session. it was a night i'll never forget.

Interests

I like trying out new restaurants and eating good food. there's so many great restaurants and types of food to try; its a shame we get swamped with subways and mcdonalds when there's places like Chipotle and Potbellys!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Eyes Wide Shut, Back to the Future, Safety not guaranteed (anything that has to do with time travel or space, i'm into it) or any movie with Nicholas Cage.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

the thought of standing on a stage making people laugh scared the hell out of me. so I did it. I took classes at Second City and wrote down a lot of material. at the end of the class I did a show in front of 80 people. I think the best way to overcome those things is to just do it.

Teach, Learn, Share

Let me show you a few things about Graphic Design, Stand Up comedy, and Improvising. what I know best is how to have fun around the city without having to spend a lot of money :)
