About Me

Easy going, always up for adventure, spending time outdoors, new experiences, and meeting new people. I recently completed my Masters degree I decided to live out my dreams and head west in search of new opportunities!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Recently finished a seasonal biologist job and am road tripping around the PNW and Canadian Rockies for a month or so. I'm looking to meet genuine, like minded people who share my passion for the outdoors and can help show me more of the amazing opportunities this corner of the country has to offer!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I have a pretty broad taste in music, big Tom Petty fan (RIP), indie rock and folk, country to hip-hop and most things in between.

Movies: Not a big movie watcher, but I am a huge fan of shows like Curb Your Enthusiasm, Always Sunny, Rick and Morty, Westworld, Game of Thrones, Narcos, and Last Week Tonight.

Books: Best recent reads were Evicted, Death and Life of the Great Lakes, On Tyranny, and Born a Crime. Always looking for good new reads!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I blew my chance to be on TV with Alex Trebek for the National Geographic Bee back in middle school by one question in a sudden death round, but I'm still a huge nerd who could totally help you win your weekly bar trivia.

Teach, Learn, Share

Can teach you much more than you care to know about plants, fish, fishing, and the environment. I'm very into gardening, canning, jamming etc.
Would love to learn new recipes, share good meals, favorite drinks etc. and of course general life experiences and advice on finding a rad new life on the west coast!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm more than happy to share my passion for cooking and baking, travel stories, and outdoor recreation!
