Overview
About Me
I've spent my life so far on the shore of Great Lake Michigan, growing up and getting educated. Now I'm 27 and I'm figuring out where to go from here. It's a wide world and there's a lot to see, a lot of people to meet, a lot of cultures to get to know.
I have been interested in movies from a young age, so I went to college to study filmmaking. But I'm also interested in science, history, and education. I think education is probably the single most important thing to fund. I used to think I'd get into teaching. Right now I'm working on houses - carpentry, painting, roofing.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I met a lot of people using couchsurfing.com when I was in Southeast Asia a couple of years ago. I'll be in Mexico this January/February, so I thought I'd try it again.
Interests
I'm always trying to seek out new culture - books, music, food. I love to learn and I'm constantly amazed by the world. We live on a dope planet, so respect it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Amazing - debatable. But the ninety mile bicycle ride from Milwaukee to Madison was one of the most enjoyable bike rides around southeast Wisconsin I've done.
Blasting through 90 degree summer heat over asphalt, gravel, dirt for eight hours - a fond memory.
Teach, Learn, Share
Three great verbs.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Everywhere I go, I try to leave as little negative impact as possible. In fact, I try to change things for the better when I can. Maybe that sounds corny, but I think it's important.
