After graduating university in 2015 I traveled to Turkey, living and exploring there Spring 2016. Then I spent the next two summers as a outdoor adventure tour guide. I was a bicycle guide in Alaska, then a sea kayak guide in Washington state. I decided then to try out English language instruction. I was teaching in Spain in a small town in Spain, but decided to come back to Istanbul, the city I love. I'm looking for ESL or other work in the city currently

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was a outdoor tour guide I had the privilege to experience wildlife encounters many people would only see on Planet Earth. While sea kayaking I had a couple of close up experiences with Orcas (Killer whales) in the wild. Once one swam right under my kayak and flipped on his back to look up at us. It was so close I could see his white underbelly as he cruised just below.

I know a thing or two about gardning and sustainable agriculture. On top of that İm pretty versetaile ın my knowledge of different subjects. I like to think i'm a pretty skilled backpacker and outdoorsman. I also can fix up old bikes pretty well.
