I grew up in the upper peninsula of Michigan. In a town that was right next to lake superior. Even though the winters were harsh I really enjoyed my childhood.

I moved to bellingham wa around 8 years ago and worked on a trail crew. From there I did wildland firefighting/ and delivered packages in the winter. I moved to a small town outside of Olympia for work and I am trying to explore and see as much as I can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing because it seems like an interesting way to meet new people while visiting a new place or who are trying to go to the same event.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't really watch anime that often but I enjoyed the movie Akira, my favorite tv series is probably twin peaks, I haven't been reading that often, the last books I read were dune and the handmaids tale both because movie and tv shows were out.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was living in Bellingham I hiked the North twin which was right next to Mt Baker and even though it wasn't officially climbing, it was a scramble and had a great view. i hiked with a few friends and then we had to slide down a snow patch to get down. It was probably one of the most unique hiking experiences ive had in this state.

Also when I was working for the Washington Conservation Corps, I got to help out the people affected by the hurricanes that hit Puerto Rico and St Croix (US Virgin Islands). We were removing debris, spraying mold, and cutting trees off of houses. Its probably one of the experiences that I am most proud of.
