Overview
About Me
I'm a Brazilian living in UK, first time living abroad. Learning a lot about different cultures and loving it. I'm really into music, I'm a bass player and always up to gigs, festivals, jam sessions. I also like music in vinyl, arts, movies, books. About travelling, I like to know the history, the local customs, the food, beautiful landscapes and have the most possible local experience.
Recently enjoying a bit of van life (not living on a van but weekends), building my own van, home brewing and a lot of festivals.

Music, Movies, and Books
Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Rolling Stones, The Doors, Janis Joplin, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Saxon, Uriah Heep, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Rainbow, Miles Davis, John Coltrane, John Scofield, GoGo Penguin, Medeski, Martin and Wood, Jimmy Smith, Tom Jobim, Stan Getz, Chet Baker, Weather Report, Dave Brubeck, Duke Ellington, and this list keeps growing and growing.
Electronic is becoming a thing, specially Psytrance and ambient/downtempo stuff and a bit of techno/tech house.
Isabel Allende, Orwell, Aldous Huxley, biographies, specially from musicians, recently read Watching the English (strongly recommended if you are living in England) and The Shining and the next on the queue is one from Iain Banks
In movies, I like Darren Aronofsky, Stanley Kubrick, any independent weird movie that does not follow any of the blockbuster's formulas, The Godfather (1 and 2), Star Wars, The Silence of The Lambs (and any other with Hannibal Lecter), any horror movie from James Wan, Pedro Almodovar, City Of God, Birdman, Groundhog Day. My list of not so mainstream and nice movies: Cafe de Flore (Canadian), The Perks of Being a Wallflower, About Time (English), The Intouchables (French)
