About Me
Hey! I am Eric, Colombian and English teacher. Here you have my Facebook profile: https://m.facebook.com/eric.malo1992
Nowadays, I am living in a different country (Brazil) because I wanted much more experience with different populations and students. Also, because I was really interested in improving my portuguese skills while doing the best thing you could do in the world "teaching"
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on couchsurfing because I have met lots of people who have used this way to travel to many cities, to know about different cultures, to share experiences and the most important to make new friends around the world.
Interests
Recently, I am into that period of time that I want many challenges in my life. However, you cannot do it by yourself. So, I am interested in learning about others' life experiences, languages. If you will, playing the guitar while drinking a beer or even a glass of water. I definitely think you don't need many things to make your day.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite music is Rock and Roll, I really like to go to shows and feel that cool vibe while you are waiting to see your favorite band. My favorite movie could be Benny and Joon, it is a wonderful story because, we sometimes forget the pleasure of enjoying the simplest things around us. I really enjoy reading books of knowing about yourself such as "the four agreements by Miguez Ruiz" and The Prophet.
I could die by reading classicals like The picture of Dorian Gray, The Great Gatsby (If you know better ones tell me please) and all related to Latin American literature mainly Colombian writers.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Many. Nevertheless, let me share you that once in Brazil I got to teach a really basic English group. There was a woman who was having her first English class after several attempts and failed courses according to what my boss told me before the class. Almost shaking she say Hi! In Portuguese and then she told me "I won't be able to speak English because it's difficult and I am not intelligent at all"
Then, trying to do my best to help her and so on. Nowadays, she is able to tell you activities you can do in many cities, her personal information, what she likes to wear, etc. It is not a big deal for many. But, All Saturdays I teach her it is amazing to see her shinny eyes waiting for her English Class like if she were a 6 year old girl.
