About Me

I was born and raced in Mexico city, I lived there for the first 20 years of my life, then I moved to Alaska and for the last decade this land called the last frontier has been my home. I am an open minded and friendly person. I consider my self adventurous, respectful and optimistic.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Ever since I remember I had the desire to travel the world but for many reasons I have not been able to do it extensively. I believe that things in life happen for a reason and at the right time and it seems that life is pushing me to do it now.
Couchsurfing would not only give me the opportunity to explore the world but it would also allow me to meet new and interesting people.

Interests

Arts in general.
Beer, wine & food - specially when is new to me.
Everything outdoors; Hiking, biking, talking walks, kayaking, camping etc... I like to stay active.
I love the architecture that distinguish each city/town in the world and I'm very interested in other languages and cultures.

Music, Movies, and Books

ALL MUSIC but my favorite kind would be: Classic and Indie/Alternative Rock.
My favorite book so far has been; Safari as a way of life by Jennifer New

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Back packing/Hiking the Crow creek pass. 23 miles from Girdwood to Eagle river AK. A group of 5 of us (close friends) did it taking our time in 3 days, crossing one of the most known rivers in AK, exploring a glacier at an elevation of 3500 ft and be surrounded by indescribable nature scenes and wild life. It has been one of the most amazing things I've done and I would suggest it 100%

Teach, Learn, Share

I guess if there is anything I can teach is either English or Spanish as a language. I like learning what's interesting to me and I share all I can and I'm comfortable with sharing.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I should say food and booze are my favorite things to share.
