Hi Couchsurfers! I'm from Chicago, but for the last 5 years I've been based in Berlin, where I'm a Master's student and work as a researcher in international development—focusing on gender and adolescent development in humanitarian contexts.
I've studied in the U.S., Germany, and Jordan and Egypt, and traveled well beyond that. I'm always looking to expand that horizon, and to meet and share experiences with people eager to do the same.
Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin
I'm new to couchsurfing, though certainly not to traveling. I realized recently that I've tended to visit places where I know people, which created a bit of a paradox: it lets me get to know the places better, but it limited the places I would go. This seems like the perfect solution.
