Music, Movies, and Books
I'm mostly in to indie rock, bluegrass, and funk. I play the banjo and guitar, though I haven't found a banjo around here yet.
My favourite film is probably Whiplash or Das Boot (I'm a bit of a history hobbyist).
I don't read much fiction but I like a lot of historical non-fiction. One of the best books I've read was The Prize of All the Oceans about George Anson's voyage around the world.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In Mexico I like to work with dog shelters so last May, I, in cooperation with two other university campuses, organised a big dog adoption fair called the Adogtame. It was a day-long fair with music and food -and most importantly- dogs. It was really great to see people playing around with the dogs and loads of them got adopted that day.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love playing music, if any hosts play instruments I'd love to jam. I'm not much of a cook but I try haha.
I like to drink (particularly rum w/ black tea) and I'll always offer drinks if I'm drinking.
I also program and I'm interested in web design (just in case that's something you want to learn/take advantage of haha).
