About Me

Hey, I‘m Eric, 24y/o from Kassel/Germany - a city famous for its thousands racoons living on the streets 🦝

I am studying urban planning and work part-time as a journalist for a local newspaper and radio. I live in a small but beautiful shared flat together with two friends 🏘️

Whenever possible, I go backpacking or camping. I visited China, Georgia, Turkey, the US and many European countries like Norway, Romania, Albania, Portugal and Poland.

I am very curious about how people live in different places of our planet. That is my main motivation for traveling. And I also just love being out in nature. And I‘m interested in architecture 😁🍀

Tolerance, respect and kindness are important values in my everyday life.

Music, Movies, and Books

I prefer music over films and books. My favourite bands are changing from time to time. I can recommend listening to the Giant Rooks :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2022, I traveled to Albania by myself. On the airplane, I met a young man, we talked a lot, he helped me with the passport control and finally invited me to his parents’ house in the countryside. After arriving there, we had dinner together and held a conversation with the help of google translate. The next morning, we also had breakfast together. The son showed me the garden, the family‘s cattle and vineyard. Then they helped me buying a local sim card, getting some local money and showed me some sights nearby. Faleminderit! (thanks in 🇦🇱)
