I love traveling, playing music, board games and card games, singing karaoke, and helping my friends on any weird art projects they happen to be working on (giant papier-mâché elephants, installing lasers on the ceiling, painting clown masks, controlling lights with a raspberry-pi, etc.). I really enjoy programming and have a very broad range of interests, and am currently very interested in projection, light displays, and CNC machining.

I run a startup, so I work a lot! We started a video streaming service which is designed to bring sustainability (money!) to independent filmmakers/video creators, and strengthen the audience-creator connection.

On the weekends we usually have friends come over and end up singing karaoke, and we also have a bunch of instruments lying around that are good for people of all skill levels if they feel up for it, including those who have never touched an instrument. There are always events/concerts/festivals here, so we go to a lot of those too.

I believe that music is for everyone, and I'd be happy to show you some guitar, bass, trombone, drums, etc. I teach Python programming classes and host a youth hack night and would be happy to show you that as well, or if you're more advanced I work a lot in React and Elixir/Phoenix. I'm also something of a Linux nerd if that's your thing.

My wife knows crochet and knitting, and we have a lot of friends that know many crafts (we host a craft night each Tuesday).

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can definitely help with just about any technology-related thing, whether that's setting up a website for you or installing more RAM in your laptop. I can also teach you programming and music. I have a financial background and am very good with setting up spreadsheets and financial things too. I love talking about businesses and business ideas -- I got a lot of help along the way, and if I can help someone else I'm very happy to do it!
