As a young, somewhat broke college student with a love for travel, having the opportunity to organize and network people with a similar mindset of sharing their skills and resources for the betterment of humanity is something i really appreciate. And free lodging is always a plus, right?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

in the summer of 2014 I worked for Northwest Youth Corps, a non-profit program where I worked on a Trail Repair and Maintenance Crew. I camped in a tent for 6 Weeks straight and usually worked out halfway to the middle of nowhere and repaired Hiking trails in southern Oregon and Norther California. it was a huge change of pace for me and really got me excited about the outdoors and making part of my career working in the Environmental/Sustainability sector
