I was born and raised in New York City. I think being surrounded by so many cultures helped give me a love of traveling to more deeply experience other cultures. I love to meet locals and other travelers and make friends while on the road.

I’m a musician, and will probably be traveling with some sort of instrument. Improvising and making music is always a delight while traveling! At home I play classical cello and also write songs.

I currently live in Portland, OR. I love nature, and I’m fortunate to live in a place where I can get into the mountains regularly to hike, backpack, climb, and ski.

Played cello for 5 years in the Orquestra Sinfônica Brasileira in Rio. I fell in love with Brazil, Brazilians, and Portuguese.
