Why I’m on Couchsurfing

During cycle touring trips in 2012 and 2014 I experienced tons of amazing hospitality and generosity from so many Couch Surfers! I look forward to attempting to repay this kindness to any people who come through my house.

Did you know that the densest fur of any animal on the planet belongs to the sea otter, Enhydra lutris? If you were to put your thumb down on the pelt of a sea otter there would be more hair underneath your thumb than on the entire top of your head! On average, there are about a million hairs per square inch of sea otter fur.
