Make the world you want to live in through your actions. I try to do a good deed daily to change the world a teeny bit at a time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet awesome people. Staying in a hotel is lame and isolating. Why not make new friends when you visit a new place? I like to share stories and the mischief I am up to with my hosts. It's a treat to skill-share with other flow artists and acroyogis!

Interests

The natural world never ceases to amaze me. When I am not outside, I seek deeper understanding of it as a profession. I love to learn, and to teach others what I have learned.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to pretty much everything. I'm partial to EDM, 80s alternative, classical guitar and bossamneco.

I love sci-fi. The more abstract the movie the better. Some recent favs are ghost in the shell, transcendence and avatar.

I read a lot - some recent favs are The Natty Professor (it's very earnest), Dynamical Systems in Neuroscience (because it is humorous and very, very technically dense), the Art of Analog Layout (good design is also beautiful).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The first time I saw old growth forests in the Northwest. Being the first hikers up on Halfdome in Yosemite on a perfect morning. My first year at MakerFaire. The National Museum of Korea. Melting Hafnium!!!
