About Me
I haven't used couchsurfing for many years now, and am keen to try again!
I don't have a permanent home at the moment, and have been spending time between the US and Europe since I left San Francisco after a lovely year living there.
I spent a decade working in holistic education, building some really weird, cool schools and learning programs around the ideas of self-direction at the individual level, and self-organizing at the group level. I spent the last 5+ years working in open source tech doing much of the same thing, though, I do miss working with kids.
I'm still working in that tech space, though I'm in a transition period to start some projects with microalgae, which, I loved ever since I was a little kid. They're amazing. I know this is an about me section, but it would be so much better if it were all about microalgae. You know these microscopic single celled plants are responsible for ~70% of the breathable oxygen on the planet?! I know!
I enjoy being physically active, love to eat healthy food, don't drink or smoke, and am in the process of figuro
