ABOUT ME

I write a weather column for the Wall Street Journal on weather/climate stuff in the NYC area. After 6 years out east (most of which was spent working with subsistence farmers abroad on climate issues), I decided to get back to my midwest roots and settle down on an organic farm of my very own!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Had a great time in Viroqua, WI staying with a new friend and her cute fluffy puppy and farm cats. Met up with several other CS contacts in the area which was a great introduction! (even came away with a homemade map of local hiking trails and abandoned roads and bridges to explore!)
