Hiyah, I have evolved from DJ to educator to adventure traveller to changemaker and now lead www.youth-leader.org, a global community of youth, citizens, teachers, experts and badass hero*ines working #fulltimeforfuture to enable our beautiful young generation at school and beyond to self-organize projects that change lives, land, learning, laws and industries, like and with their hero*ine peers all over the planet.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

I travel around Europe to activate cities for youth leadership through poster exhibits, trainings, conversations with youth, teachers and citizens on fire to do good ... and to report on model solutions and amazing people for YL Magazine + to map amazing LearnSpaces for positive change on the Youth-Leader Map.

I often have to respond quickly to requests from cities and I commit full on to doing this, also on minimal budget and with Miss Goldi the Cat at my side. Airbnb gets too expensive (and corporate), so I HOPE that the good old couchsurfing community that I engaged in a lot 10 years ago is still as lovely, vivid and welcoming as it used to be. Why would it have changed?

So many magical journeys in Australia and North America, with indigenous elders, initiations to sacred traditions of the Americas, Europe and India, home birth of my son, seeing him grow up into a wonderful young man, ... and then two decades of daily encounter with today's Einsteins, Gandhis and Gryffindores sharing the dream to empower the young generation.

Ce que j'aimerais partager avec mes hôtes

I love to chat and cook, share (often overlooked) amazing new potentials fo positive societal change also with great people inside "the system" like schools, city councils, news media, public services etc - especially when teens take action with solutions! ... and listen to your stories, where you are at in life, what's next... we might even team up in the YL Tribe for diverse activities, who knows?

I can also share silence. <3 since I can well occupy myself and always have more work on my desk that I can complete by midnight :-D
