I value playing an active role in my community and giving back. As a consultant, I have traveled abroad to work with local hospitals and orphanages with lesser access to healthcare/resources. Helping to motivate and encourage others energizes me because it infuses hope in all of us.
After graduating from PT school, the adventurer in me thought I would start in Hawaii and work my way back east through Cali but something happened when I came to this place... so, just a fair warning to visitors: you may fall in love and never want to leave! But that wouldn't be so bad...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people, learning about different cultures, and experiencing travel in a tangible way (not on a tour bus) with locals who are passionate about where they live. I also really like the ideas of community, generosity, and networking that Couchsurfing cultivates to build relationships with others who feel the same way all around the world.
