Über mich

CURRENT MISSION

I am in a "time to think/travel/reflect on life" period, and going to make a little round of trips until March of next year. I`m going to Vietnam, Australia, Finland and Miami.

ABOUT ME

It's hard to describe yourself, don't you think? But I guess the important thing to know about me is that I'm a very open minded person who loves to get in contact with new cultures, people, languages, points of view, and everything that's new for me.

I believe that the world is in chaos because most people have some difficulty to respect, or even try to understand, a differente culture/point of view that their not used to.

In other words, exchange experience and share new points of view.

PHILOSOPHY

"Stop talking, start doing it"

"It's better to regret having done, than to have done nothing at all"

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently i'm working and studying a lot, so during the week i'm unfortunately "out". In the weekends I spend my time with my good friends doing everything that comes in our minds: partying, going to the beach, pubs, movies, shows, and everything that envolves meeting people. So if you need tips, advices, someone to share experiences or maybe a place to stay, let's talk!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first CS experience was very fun.

I work in World Trade Center São Paulo here in Brazil, and in july of this year we received 3 interns from San Diego. Don't have to say that I was very ecxited to know them.

In the first day I made good interaction with the 3 of them, and after a couple of days, withou notice, one of them was living in my house!

In one month that they stayed here, I tried to show them what is the brazilian culture, so we visit pubs, beaches and the major points in SP. Daniel Lavi - which after that encounter became like a real brother to me - stayed in my house for the rest of july and in our conversations, he told me abour CS and how usefull it is. We went to a couple of places and parties where we find people who him get in contact with through CS. After that, where I am!

Interessen

That's kind of hard, but I really like to do anything that get you to interact with people, so: music, pubs and bars, sporting…

But sometimes the best thing to do is, a simple and inteligent conversation with a good person and a good beer in a calm place.

I think that the best way to know a new culture, is to ask about it, so I enjoy a lot to speak about culture, policy, marketing, business, psychology, history, technology and anything that comes in mind.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

And I thought that "all about you" was hard...
I'm very eclectic so I like most of the stuff.

MOVIES and TV SHOWS: exorcism, avatar, star wars saga, Eyes Wide, Waste Land, friends, How I Met Your Mother, Lie to Me, Top Chef...

MUSIC: Chris Brown, Nirvana, Aerosmith, Maurice Ravel, Don Omar, Orishas, David Guetta, Above & Beyond, Andrea Bocelli, Big Mountain, Black Eyed Peas, Bon Jovi, Capital Inicial, Sertanejo (brazilian music style), Daft Punk, Pitbull, Tiesto, Coldplay, Madonna, Edward Maya, Eric Clapton...

BOOKS: Unfortunately, most of my books are for business (marketing, HR, Economy, etc). But i'm working to have indications of good books that don't talk about market and stuff!

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

It's very stupid, but once I was 15, I ate 8 pizzas by myself!

But seriously... One thing that I remember that was amazing and I definitely want to do again was: when I went to Bariloche, I had the chance to climb the highest mountain there. Once in the top, I had a 360º vision of the... well everything.

It was so fresh, so pure, a true liberating feeling. To see all the mountains around in a thick layer of ice, reflection the sun above my head, and a little black dot that would be the city, and lots of birds in the sky migrating... That moment that it's just you, and the nature.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

All that I seek is to learn from others, so I'm quiet open about that.

From me, you'll get any kind of information/skill I have! I think I'm good in cooking, and general culture. So whatever you'll ask, is very likely that we end up in a good conversation!
