ABOUT ME

Although I'm serious about my passion--- international relations--- in general, I'm a laid back guy who likes to joke around a lot. If you're a very serious person who doesn't like to have fun, you probably won't like me, because I'm all about having fun.

I have a degree in International Relations and love to follow intertnational politics and current events. Because of this, I read The New York Times, The Economist, The Financial Times and other newspapers on an almost daily basis and am very passionate about what's going on in the world. My job involves researching and writing about international politics , and I consider myself lucky to have found an occupation that I love. Although I'm both serious and passionate about politics and world affairs, I also love to go out and have a good time. I go out to bars every weekend and like to celebrate life with family and friends--- many times with the help of lots of alcohol. Like almost everyone else in this world, I love music and try to go to as many concerts as possible. I also really like to exercise and run 5 days a week. When I was little, I used to go camping and hiking with my parents a lot, and I am trying to get back into habbit of doing outdoor activities. Basically, I joined couch surfing because I read about the world a lot and now I want to meet people from the countries I spend so much time reading about. I want to meet people who are passionate about something--- politics, music, art, science, traveling, whatever---- so please don't send me a couch request if you're boring.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Rock climbing. I've done a lot of camping over the years, so the most amazing things I have seen have been in nature, including coming within a few yards of a bear and her cubs. I've also been to some pretty cool concerts over the years, including Jay-Z, Outcast, 50 Cent, 311, Dave Matthews Band, Nas, U2, Talib Kweli, Damien Marley, Linkin Park, Weezer, Kanye West and SOJA. The most amazing experiences of my life have occurred while I was traveling and I hope to do a lot more traveling in the future.
